The Gastein Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in Austria: in 1960, architect Bernhard von Limburg laid it out as a 9-hole course at the gateway to the Hohe Tauern National Park. It was not until 42 years later that it was extended to 18 holes and – as golfers confirm time and again – perfectly adapted.
